Review: Had an old cast iron heater to recycle. Only got around $30 for it, but it beats paying $300 for someone to remove it. Was quick and easy to process. They did not help unload.

Review: Used to bring aluminum cans with my grandfather back in the day and always loved the hustle bustle. Been there 3 times as an adult to trade in scrap and it was an awesome experience in and out. If you know what you have and you are organized they get you your money quick and back on the road.

Review: I’m done with this place.Do yourself a favor, do not sell your scrap here.I have sold my non-ferrous scrap metal here for years. Probably tons of copper and brass over that time. So, I’m no amateur.Today I pull up to the window to check in and the old woman with the buzz cut starts into me about waiting till the previous truck clears the scale before pulling up. I explained that I was watching and did not drive on the scale before the other truck left. She quickly told I me could leave if I was going to argue. I have been here many times and have dealt with the same woman’s rude and disrespectful attitude many times. But today was over the top. I guess since I don’t have a trailer load I’m not worth the bother. She should not be working at the window and being the face of this company. I wonder how many customers she has turned off.Yes, I will take her advice and leave, someone else can profit from my metal.Reliable Auto is right down the street and a joy to work with compared to this.

Review: We have been bringing scrap metal and old appliances here for years. Getting paid definitely beats paying your garbage man $10 per item to haul away something or getting zip for your scrap from your recycle pickup. You need to realize this is an industrial facility that accepts consumers. They don’t have people to remove your stuff. You won’t be coddled. You have to go to the designated area and off load yourself. If it has rained recently, be prepared for mud.Their hours are 7:30 to 3:30 M-Th, 7:30-3:00 F and 8:00 to Noon on Sat. If you get in line too late for your transaction to be completed before closing, you will be turned away. The scrap value of your dishwasher isn’t worth the overtime. So plan to be in line at least 30 minutes before closing. We are lucky to have them.
